As indicated by Dr. Landrico Dalida Jr., Pagasa's Deputy Administrator for Operations and Services, Queenie entered PAR around 5 in the afternoon. Pagasa said Queenie packs most extreme maintained breezes of 160 (kph) kilometers for each hour and breeziness of up to 195 kphm as it moves in the northwest course at 15 kph.

Dalida said that this was the seventeenth tropical storm to enter the Philippines this year. Pagasa senior climate pro Jun Galang said Queenie will probably escalate while inside PAR and draw nearer to Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands by Thursday or Friday.

Pagasa said Queenie is required to leave the nation by Friday evening.
