Any plan to travel and visit some friends but has no free time and money? This would be a great opportunity for everyone in Metro Manila as all railroad frameworks in Metro Manila will give free rides to travelers on Tuesday, June the 12th, in festivity of the 120th commemoration of Independence Day.

As per the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the Philippine National Railways (PNR), Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines One and Two, and Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) will give the free rides just amid select periods on the said day.

Southbound:

Tutuban to Alabang: 7:07 in the morning trip; 7:37 and 6:07 in the evening trips
Tutuban to Calamba: 6:37 in the evening trip

Northbound:

Alabang to Tutuban: 7:30 in the morning and 8 in the morning trips; 6 in the evening and 6:30 in the evening trips
MRT3, LRT1, and LRT2:
7 AM to 9 AM
5 PM to 7 PM

Meanwhile, Secretary of Education, Leonor Briones empowered all authorities, instructors, and understudies to effectively take an interest in the planned exercises for the 120th commemoration of the decree of Philippine Independence. Briones said that all open and tuition based schools are urged to take an interest in the exercises identified with the festival and are additionally required to attempt exercises to honor not just the 2018 Philippine Independence Day festivity and in addition the National Flag Day.

Refering to Presidential Proclamation 110 arrangement of 1963 entitled "Announcing June the 12th as the Philippine Independence Day", Briones said that the nation will recognize the 120th commemoration of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence from the 29th of May to the 30th of June, 2018, with the subject "Kalayaan 2018: Pagbabagong Ipinaglaban, Alay sa Masaganang Kinabukasan" (Freedom 2018: Changes we fought, in honor of our fruitful future - we translated).
